This position reports to: Services Manager **Your Role:** In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute medium- to high-complexity service jobs, following work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver exceptional service to customers in the Automation division’s Energy Industries business area in Chile, ensuring their satisfaction. Additionally, you will leverage your experience working with customers to identify opportunities within the installed base, aiming to improve system performance and operations. The work model for this position is **Hybrid** {\#LI\-Hybrid} **Responsibilities** * Lead projects and coordinate technical activities, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources. * Perform on-site services (installation, maintenance, fault analysis) when no active projects are underway. * Design, document, and configure Distributed Control Systems (DCS), such as 800xA, Symphony Plus, Freelance, AC500, Harmony, and SCADAvantage. * Provide technical support to the commercial team to assess feasibility and prepare proposals. **Requirements** * Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project/service engineering, including at least 2 years leading projects. * Knowledge and hands-on experience with ABB’s Distributed Control System (DCS) 800xA. * Valid Class B driver’s license and availability for field travel (40–60%). * Advanced technical English (reading and terminology). **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with ABB DCS 800xA or Symphony Plus (S+). * Knowledge of engineering design, system sizing, and technical feasibility analysis. * Leadership skills, teamwork ability, and capacity to transfer knowledge. **What We Offer** * The opportunity to join a global company and contribute to high-impact industrial projects. * A collaborative and continuously learning environment, with access to advanced training and technologies. * Career development opportunities within a robust technical career path, including growth potential across the organization and function. **About ABB’s Energy Industries Division** ABB’s Automation Energy Industries division drives safe, intelligent, and sustainable projects and operations for companies in oil & gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation, and water.
