Our purpose is to build trust through independent, innovative, and operationally excellent services. **Job Description** ------------------------- At SGS Minerals, we are currently seeking Shipment Inspectors to support operations involving **inspection and control at mining sites, port facilities, and industrial plants in northern Chile.** The primary mission of this role is to perform inspection, control, and supervision activities for mineral products during receipt, storage, sampling, weighing, loading, unloading, and shipment processes—ensuring compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and client requirements. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct operational inspections and controls in the field. * Supervise mineral receipt, loading, unloading, and shipment processes. * Perform sampling and quality control in accordance with established procedures. * Record operational information and prepare reports related to performed activities. * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Maintain effective communication with clients and operational teams. **Requirements** -------------- ### **Education** * **Completed Secondary Education (mandatory).** * ***Preferred*** technical education in Mining, Metallurgy, Logistics, Port Operations, or related fields. ### **Experience** * ***Preferred*** experience in mining, port, logistics operations, or inspection and operational control activities. ### **Knowledge and Skills** * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * **Availability to work on-site and on rotating shifts.** * ***Preferred*** valid Class B driver’s license. **Conditions** --------------- * Work modality: On-site. * Work schedule type: Article 22\. * Work location: Mining sites, ports, and industrial facilities in northern Chile (ANTOFAGASTA). * Base salary: $539\.000 CLP. * Ongoing training in SGS procedures, management systems, and operational safety. * Opportunities for professional development and career growth within a globally leading company.
