Carry out tasks autonomously with limited supervision, contributing to equipment safety, reliability, and availability, while coordinating with more experienced technicians and the maintenance team to support customer operational continuity. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on surface drilling equipment. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures. * Inspect components and ensure proper equipment functionality. * Conduct operational tests after each intervention. * Perform spare parts identification and requisition as required. * Complete technical reports and maintenance records. * Comply with Sandvik and customer-established health, safety, and environmental standards. * Support and share knowledge with less-experienced technicians. **YOUR PROFILE:** * Higher-education technical degree or engineering degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years’ experience performing maintenance on mobile mining equipment. * Experience in surface drilling equipment maintenance (mandatory). * Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. * Basic technical English (mandatory). **OTHER REQUIREMENTS:** * Willingness to travel within and outside Chile. * Availability to work rotating shifts as required by the company. * **Class B driver’s license, minimum 3 years’ validity (mandatory).** * **Class D driver’s license (desirable).** * **Residence in Copiapó (mandatory).** **Work Location: Cerro Negro Norte Contract** **APPLICATION PROCESS:** * **Sandvik Internal Candidates:** Access Intranet Vacancies Job ID: **R0096306\.** * **External Candidates:** www.sandvik.com “Careers”, enter code **R0096306** (create user account, **upload updated CV**, and **complete questionnaire**, if applicable). *Sandvik is an equal opportunity employer.
