




Our client is a mining company with operations in northern Chile. They are currently seeking an **Operations Deputy General Manager** responsible for planning, implementing, and controlling the process and operations management strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives under conditions of health, safety, and environmental protection, thereby enabling the success of the business plan in accordance with current legal regulations, standards, policies, and strategic objectives established by the Company. Key responsibilities include: * Managing the Company’s mining sites. * Coordinating activities across the Company’s various mining sites. * Representing the Company before regional and municipal government authorities, as well as social and community institutions. * Coordinating activities with other departments within the Company. * Planning the Company’s production. * Controlling mining and industrial operational processes. * Supervising the production process on-site. * Reporting operational results to the Operations Management team. * Developing, disseminating, coordinating, monitoring, and promoting safety, occupational health, and environmental protection among staff. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in mining/industrial plant operations. Experience leading mining industry operations is required. Knowledge of legal compliance requirements in mining safety, including Supreme Decree No. 132, is essential. Proficiency in SAP and a Class B driver’s license are required.
