Why not BHP? **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced and passionate procurement professional to join the Infrastructure and Services value chain in Minerals Americas in a permanent position. The selected candidate will report to the Value Chain Leader and will be responsible for managing service contracts for operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performance team and become a strategic partner for key areas of our business. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop effective relationships with internal business leaders to understand business requirements, forecast demand, and ensure established contracts are effective. * Build collaborative supplier relationships to ensure optimal delivery quality and sustained performance aligned with business objectives. * Generate action plans together with operations to achieve business and productivity KPIs for Operational Services areas. * Identify and implement category improvement initiatives by managing our portfolio and creating synergies with other sub-functions. * Gather requirements and analyze key data inputs from multiple sources (internal and external) to develop robust category and sourcing strategies. * Lead sourcing and negotiation strategies using market intelligence and best practice tools such as clean sheeting, e\-Auctions, TCO analysis, and others. * Ensure integration of category strategy across the function (procurement, warehouse, inventory, logistics, COMEX, payments, A\&I, marketing) and operations to guarantee the lowest incoming supply chain cost. * Conduct supplier performance reviews to track performance against business and contractual requirements. * Establish collaborative working spaces with key stakeholders through standardized routines. **About You** * Bachelor's degree required. * At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with a focus on supply chain management or production-related areas within plant operations. * In-depth knowledge of the logistics market. * Proven ability to influence and engage across all functions and at mining operation sites. * Ability to analyze complex business processes, risk factors, and control systems. * Demonstrated competencies in financial assessments and business project models. * Knowledge of logistics processes. * Advanced level of Spanish and English (mandatory). **We Support a Diverse Workforce** At BHP, we adhere to Inclusion Law 21\.015.
