Professional stability and development within a growing technical team Multifunctional HVAC/R Technician **JB Solutions SpA**, a company specializing in maintenance services and climate control solutions, seeks to hire a **Multifunctional HVAC/R Technician** to work in Santiago. Job Objective Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and commissioning of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and service quality delivered to our clients. Main Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC/R equipment. * Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults. * Maintain split, multi-split, VRV/VRF, fan coil, and air handling units (AHUs). * Work on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. * Conduct pressure, temperature, and electrical parameter measurements. * Perform vacuuming, refrigerant recovery, and charging. * Detect and repair leaks in refrigeration circuits. * Perform brazing and copper pipe work. * Inspect motors, fans, contactors, protective devices, sensors, and controls. * Support work involving pumps, hydraulic circuits, and related systems. * Carry out system commissioning and functional testing. * Accurately document completed tasks and report anomalies. * Comply with company and client safety, quality, and established procedural protocols. Requirements **Mandatory:** * Technical diploma (secondary or higher education level) in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electromechanics, or a related field. * Minimum of **2 years** of experience in air conditioning and/or refrigeration. * Knowledge of electricity applied to HVAC/R equipment. * Ability to diagnose faults. * Proficiency in using tools and measurement instruments. * Willingness to work on-site. **Desirable:** * Experience with VRV/VRF systems. * Experience with fan coils, AHUs/UTAs, and chillers. * Experience in clinical, hospital, industrial, or high-operational-demand installations. * Knowledge of refrigerants such as R410A, R32, R134a, or others. * Class B driver’s license. * Knowledge of control and automation systems. * Certifications or courses related to refrigeration and air conditioning.
