An important company dedicated to the manufacturing of plastic containers is looking to incorporate into its team a Plant Blowing Maintenance Technician, responsible for executing the assembly, alignment, and adjustment of blow molds, ensuring the proper operation of extrusion-blow or injection-blow machines, guaranteeing container quality and production process efficiency. Additionally, carry out start-up, process testing, and operational adjustments according to technical specifications and company quality standards. **Main Functions:** * Assemble and disassemble plastic container blow molds according to production schedule. * Perform alignments, centering adjustments, and mold closure calibrations. * Set process parameters (temperature, air pressure, blowing times, extrusion, cooling, etc.). * Conduct startup tests and validation of the first container according to specifications. * Detect and correct mechanical or process failures during start-up. * Collaborate with maintenance and quality departments to optimize machine performance. * Maintain records of molds, adjustments made, and approved final parameters. * Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations and workplace organization. **Technical Requirements:** * Education: Industrial, mechanical, electromechanical technician or related field. * Minimum experience: 3 verifiable years in plastic container blowing processes (PE, PET). * Required knowledge: * Operation of blow molding machines (extrusion-blow or blow molding). * Experience in mold assembly and adjustment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Interpretation of mechanical and assembly drawings. * Knowledge of plastic materials and thermal behavior during blowing. * Detection and correction of typical defects (flash, neck height, thickness variations, etc.). * Desirable experience with temperature controllers and compressed air systems. **Personal Competencies:** * Strong sense of responsibility and commitment. * Ability to work under pressure and meet mold change deadlines. * Quality-oriented with continuous improvement mindset. * Teamwork with production, maintenance, and quality departments. * Proactive in solving technical problems. **Schedule** Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:00 hrs If you meet the requirements and wish to join our team, apply with us!
