Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support repairs. **Confidential** February 10, 2026 ### **Mechanics** #### **Key Details** Puerto Montt Full\-time To be determined Fixed-term contract Vacancies: 1 #### **Job Offer Details** ### **Job Functions** A major salmon processing plant located in Chiloé is seeking a **Machine Room Operator**, responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems during production, safeguarding operational continuity as well as safety and quality standards. **Job Mission** Execute and support the operation of the refrigeration and air conditioning systems at the processing plant, ensuring temperature control and required conditions for proper product preservation and industrial operation. **Main Responsibilities** * Operate and support the operation of industrial refrigeration equipment (compressors, condensers, evaporators) according to established parameters. * Monitor refrigeration system performance, promptly detecting and reporting failures or deviations. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, complying with established safety protocols. * Support equipment repair in case of breakdowns, contributing to operational continuity. * Verify compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to refrigeration systems. * Maintain records of operations performed and equipment operating conditions. ### **Job Requirements** Requirements • Technical qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Electromechanics, or a related field. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial or commercial refrigeration systems. • Knowledge of ammonia and/or freon-based refrigeration systems. ### **Benefits
