About the Role
At **Samtech Servicios Industriales y Protección Técnica**, we are looking to hire an **Operations Manager** to lead, coordinate, and optimize the company’s operational activities in Concepción.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring service continuity, compliance with quality and safety standards, proper utilization of resources, and achievement of key operational indicators.
This position will work closely with Maintenance, Logistics, Procurement, Risk Prevention, Administration, Human Resources, and Management teams to ensure efficient execution of assigned services and projects.
We seek a professional with experience in industrial operations or technical services, ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, and strong results-, safety-, and continuous-improvement orientation.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the company’s daily operations.
* Supervise adherence to operational plans and service-level agreements.
* Coordinate technical teams, supervisors, and field personnel.
* Ensure appropriate allocation of human and material resources.
* Monitor productivity, costs, and goal attainment.
* Manage operational KPIs and prepare reports for management.
* Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
* Supervise compliance with safety and risk prevention procedures.
* Manage operational contingencies and establish action plans.
* Coordinate requirements with internal and external clients.
* Track contracts, services, and projects.
* Control budgets and operational expenses.
* Support procurement and supply processes for materials and equipment.
* Identify opportunities to optimize time and resources.
* Implement process and procedure improvements.
* Supervise quality standards and contractual compliance.
* Coordinate follow-up meetings with supervisors and department heads.
* Analyze root causes of operational deviations.
* Establish corrective and preventive actions.
* Participate in team performance evaluations.
* Support recruitment and onboarding of operational staff.
* Maintain ongoing communication with Management regarding operational status.
* Ensure availability and proper use of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
* Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and operational accountability.
What We Are Looking For
**Experience:** 5–8 years of experience in Operations, Industrial Services, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields, including leadership experience.
**Education:** Professional degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
**Leadership:** Experience managing technical, operational, or multidisciplinary teams.
**Operational Management:** Ability to plan resources, control costs, and ensure service continuity.
**KPIs:** Experience working with productivity, compliance, safety, and quality KPIs.
**Safety:** Knowledge of best practices in risk prevention and operational safety.
**Tools:** Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or management systems.
**Communication:** Ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, supervisors, and management.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in industrial, maintenance, engineering, or technical service companies.
* Experience administering service contracts.
* Knowledge of Lean Management or continuous improvement methodologies.
* Proficiency in Power BI.
* Experience in maintenance planning.
* Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Softland, Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
* Experience in budget management.
* Knowledge of safety and quality standards.
* Experience managing multi-site operations or field teams.
* Experience managing vendors and contractors.
Salary: $2\.300\.000 \- $4\.500\.000 per month
