The position will be in charge of the complete management of the company's metrology system, ensuring the availability, calibration, and maintenance of devices, instruments, and measurement methods according to internal standards and applicable regulations. Main responsibilities: ? Establish and maintain the master calibration plan for plant measurement equipment. ? Execute, coordinate, and verify internal or external calibrations with accredited laboratories. ? Analyze measurement data and variability, evaluating trends and equipment performance. ? Manage measurement uncertainty and metrological traceability according to management system standards. ? Participate in validation and verification of critical equipment for dimensional control, weight, thickness, mechanical properties, and other relevant attributes. ? Support production and quality in resolving deviations related to measurement. ? Maintain metrological records and documentation in accordance with BRCGS Packaging Materials, ISO 9001, or other applicable certifications. ? Technician or Engineer in fields such as Metrology, Industrial Control, Mechanical, Chemistry, or similar. ? Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial metrology, preferably in the plastic industry or continuous manufacturing. ? Knowledge of quality management systems and applicable regulations. ? Proficiency with instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dynamometers, thickness measurement devices, and physical property testing equipment for film. ? Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with various departments.
