Using precision measuring tools. Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications according to material type. Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements. Operating lathes to manufacture parts according to specified dimensions and tolerances. ? Inspecting machined parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc. Recording measurements and ensuring parts meet quality standards and tolerance requirements.? Performing basic preventive maintenance on equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized workplace while complying with safety regulations. Supervising the machining process and making adjustments as necessary. Education: Technician in Machining, Industrial Mechanics, or related field. Training in operating conventional lathes and milling machines. Experience: Minimum 2\-3 years in a similar position as a lathe/milling operator.
