Technical autonomy to propose improvements and optimize maintenance plans About the Role We are seeking a **Hotel Maintenance Manager** with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, coordination of technical teams, and vendor management to ensure continuity, safety, and optimal operation of facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and supervising maintenance activities for guest rooms, common areas, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, equipment, infrastructure, and other critical assets supporting operations. We seek a hands-on, organized, and problem-solving-oriented professional capable of anticipating failures, managing priorities, and coordinating technical work without affecting guest and user experience. Key Responsibilities **Maintenance Planning:** Design and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facilities and equipment. **Technical Supervision:** Coordinate work related to electricity, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general repairs. **Facility Management:** Ensure proper operation of guest rooms, common areas, sanitary facilities, and operational spaces. **Equipment Monitoring:** Supervise the condition of pumps, electrical systems, HVAC systems, generators, lighting, and other critical equipment. **Vendor Management:** Request quotations, coordinate contractors, and supervise external work. **Cost Control:** Manage the maintenance budget, materials, spare parts, and contracted services. **Emergency Management:** Respond promptly to technical failures that may affect operational continuity. **Safety:** Ensure maintenance work complies with safety procedures and risk prevention protocols. **Technical Inventory:** Maintain records of tools, spare parts, equipment, and frequently used materials. **Inspections:** Conduct periodic infrastructure inspections to identify risks, deterioration, and repair needs. **Documentation:** Keep maintenance records, work orders, equipment history, and technical reports up to date. **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities to reduce failures, improve energy efficiency, and extend asset lifespan. What We Are Looking For **Experience:** 4–7 years of experience in hotel, building, facility, shopping center, hospital, or similar operations maintenance. **Education:** Technical or professional degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, HVAC, Construction, or a related field. **Technical Knowledge:** Experience in electricity, plumbing systems, HVAC, infrastructure, and general maintenance. **Team Management:** Ability to coordinate technicians, skilled workers, vendors, and contractors. **Planning:** Experience organizing preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as emergency response. **Tools:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office and, preferably, computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order software. **Safety:** Knowledge of risk prevention and safe work practices. **Problem Solving:** Ability to diagnose failures and coordinate efficient solutions. **Organization:** Skill in managing multiple priorities and maintaining up-to-date technical records. **Service Orientation:** Ability to perform maintenance work while minimizing disruptions to guests and users.
