We are seeking a Senior Mechanic committed to technical excellence, safety, and environmental stewardship. Position Objective: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the mechanical systems of vehicles belonging to the Yanguas Bus Fleet, following programs and procedures that ensure quality, safety, and environmental protection in every intervention. Key Responsibilities: Provide support within assigned work areas, ensuring strict adherence to scheduled shift start and end times as established by supervisors. Execute, record, and monitor activities and information required by the Management System on digital platforms, according to the assigned profile. Diagnose, identify, correct, and repair technical deviations and corrective failures caused by component end-of-life, operational failure, or external incidents affecting mechanical, refrigeration, tire, air supply, and engine systems. Develop preventive maintenance guidelines, correcting deviations and potential failures based on established standards and checklists, in accordance with technical compliance requirements issued by manufacturers and Chassis Systems Management. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on key vehicle components. Actively participate in continuous improvement of maintenance processes. Requirements: Technical education at secondary or higher level in automotive mechanics or related field. Experience in chassis maintenance for light and medium-duty vehicles. Knowledge of engine support systems, drivetrain, and powertrain systems in light and medium-duty vehicles. Proficiency in diagnosing braking systems, pneumatic systems, and steering systems in light and medium-duty vehicles. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a mechanic for buses or trucks.
