Position: Product Support Trainee Engineer Santiago Purpose of the position: To acquire practical experience and develop specific skills and knowledge to understand the role and purpose of Product Support Chile, thereby providing product support and advising Komatsu Chile on applying correct maintenance and/or operation practices for Komatsu equipment, in accordance with OEM-defined standards and the K\-way philosophy, to ensure and validate proper equipment functionality. Responsibilities: Study, understand, and apply—under supervision—data collection and specific analysis techniques to resolve product and/or maintenance issues. Generate proposals for continuous improvement in processes and optimization of technical support. Identify and control safety and environmental conditions in accordance with organizational standards, regulations, and internal company procedures. Periodically report progress on familiarization activities related to Komatsu procedures, standards, and regulations. Attend technical, commercial meetings and presentations. Perform rotations across different departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of mining operations and interrelated processes. **Desired Profile** ------------------ Position Requirements: Graduate in Electronic Engineering. Resident of Santiago. Available to travel to mine sites. Knowledge of data collection and analysis for resolving product and/or maintenance issues. Intermediate English proficiency. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, etc. Minimum 1 year of experience Minimum Education: University degree
