**Altonorte**, a metallurgical complex located in the La Negra Industrial District, 25 kilometers from the city of Antofagasta, produces and markets copper anodes, sulfuric acid, and copper in solution (PLS). **Purpose of the Position:**
To conduct inspection, assessment, and control of operational parameters to support plant operational continuity and availability within predefined safety, environmental, and quality standards.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Inspect measurement equipment for operational parameters;
* Assess and control pressure, temperature, level, and concentration parameters.
* Collect sulfuric acid samples for subsequent analysis.
* Operate the plant boiler and perform and record water analysis for boiler condensate, feedwater, and bottom blowdowns.
* Support maintenance activities in DGP.
* Maintain plant order and cleanliness.
* Perform equipment lockout.
* Support supervisor in addressing potential deviations in IDEn.
**Position Requirements:**
**Education:**
* Advanced Technician; technician trained in Metallurgy or Plant Process.
**Experience:**
* Minimum 1–2 years in similar roles. Experience in plant process control and prior work in a metallurgical or similar laboratory.
**Knowledge:**
* Certification for high-pressure steam equipment (boilers) issued by MINSAL.
**Other Requirements:**
* Shift schedule: 4-day/4-night rotation.
* Contract type: Medical Leave Replacement.
* Location: La Negra, Antofagasta (On-site).
