Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanic/Electromechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and detect failures in machinery. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems 2. Inspection and repair of machinery, including engines and hydraulic pumps 3. Studies in Mechanics or relevant experience in the field A leading company specializing in truck and machinery rentals is currently seeking Mechanics/Electromechanics to join its team in the city of Calama. Some of your responsibilities will include: * Preventive maintenance according to established guidelines. * Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. * Inspection of machinery to identify potential failures and carry out repairs. * Repair of machinery: engines, hydraulic pumps, replacement of parts, etc. * Verification and testing of machinery to confirm proper operation. Requirements * Education in Mechanics; knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, welding, or equivalent experience is highly valued. * Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic/electromechanic, preferably (though not exclusively) with equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Mercedes Benz, John Deere, among others. * Class B driver’s license * Residence in Calama (mandatory requirement). Conditions * Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00 hrs * Meal service and transportation (shuttle bus).
