Drive automation initiatives to optimize the network. **Job Description** ---------------------- This will be your purpose! Design, implement, and evolve connectivity, Data Center, and network security solutions for Entel's infrastructure, ensuring integration of multi-vendor technologies and NFVi, Cloud, and SDN environments. This role is responsible for guaranteeing network design, capacity planning, scalability, availability, and quality nationwide, incorporating advanced architectures such as Spine\-Leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, and security platforms, while also driving automation initiatives that optimize network operations, scalability, and cost efficiency (Capex and Opex). Some of your responsibilities… * Support the design of Entel’s network and NFVi infrastructure connectivity and security in accordance with Engineering criteria defined within the Area or Functional Team. * Implement new capabilities and capacity sizing defined by Engineering in projects established for this purpose. * Configure multi-technology, multi-vendor, and multi-access connectivity and security infrastructure environments. * Ensure technological renewal of the data network. * Deploy various Data Center connectivity and network security equipment. * Perform root cause analysis for connectivity and network security issues. * Handle end-to-end (E2E) issues. Basic troubleshooting and management of low-complexity data networks. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Minimum 3 years of professional experience. * Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Network Engineering, Telematics, or Computer Science. * 1 year of experience in data networks at a telecommunications operator or vendor. * Data Center Networking: Medium-level networking project management. * Architectures: spine\-leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, Overlay/Underlay, DCI, Multi\-site EVPN. * NGFW Administration: Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Check Point. * Programming: Python/Ansible, APIs. * Linux.
