Offering an authentic Nikkei culinary experience at Matsuri, Italian flavors at Senso, light snacks and drinks at Atrium Lobby Lounge. **About the Role** Mandarin Oriental, Santiago, is seeking for its Rooms department the next Customer Service Agent – Receptionist who can provide guests with a unique and memorable arrival and departure experience. **Your responsibilities will include** * Supporting the company’s philosophy and culture through the daily use of *Legendary quality experience pillars* to ensure guest satisfaction and achievement of our mission. * Supporting the company’s philosophy and culture through the use of guiding principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring guest satisfaction and achievement of our mission. * Providing memorable check-in and check-out experiences for our guests by preparing arrivals, following appropriate steps to accommodate guests, efficiently registering groups, verifying departures, and tracking late departures. * Handling guest comments and incidents appropriately and within the required time frame. * Communicating all guest feedback and concerns to MOD / FOM to ensure proper follow-up. * Proactively gathering information and preferences for guest profiles. * Acting on guest profile information to fully delight our guests by anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations. * Possessing a basic understanding of accounting and cash handling. * Ensuring open communication with Front Office staff to complete all guest requests, such as luggage requests for check-in and check-out. * Being knowledgeable about all internal groups and events, including special requirements and billing arrangements. * Being familiar with the area and services and amenities offered. * Having general knowledge of the hotel’s location and surrounding attractions. * Presenting a positive appearance by adhering to grooming standards and maintaining an optimistic and positive attitude at all times. * Protecting the privacy of guests and colleagues at all times. * Following safety guidelines at all times. * Processing and handling guest calls, external calls, receiving messages, and making wake-up calls.
