We are seeking an **Alternative Assets Analyst** who will be responsible for participating in the investment strategy of Principal AGF's alternative funds, providing comprehensive support in the creation and management of these funds. The candidate will coordinate with company support areas (operations, treasury, accounting, legal and tax), Financing, Product, Commercial, and others, in order to acquire assets or provide financing to companies, subsequently maximizing fund returns during asset management according to defined strategic guidelines. **What do we expect from you?** * Participate in the execution and analysis of the investment strategy for alternative funds, considering financing options and potential securities issuances. Provide support in identifying and conducting financial analysis on new business opportunities. * Maintain performance metrics for Funds and their underlying assets. Monitor the most relevant parameters. * Support financial analysis and monitoring during the maturity and sale stages of assets. Conduct market and asset analysis. * Prepare presentations for the Investment Committee. * Analyze new investment opportunities for alternative funds and perform due diligence on various investments. Develop financial models and investment memorandums. * Prepare monthly and quarterly fact sheets for contributors and assist the product team in responding to investor inquiries. * Support the design and launch of new alternative asset funds at Principal AGF.
