




**Kitchen Assistant (10 vacancies)** **Food Handlers / Cooks \- Kitchen Assistants** ============================================================================================================= ### **CONTACT INFORMATION** **Company:** Mediterranea de Catering **Economic activity:** Industrial supply of meals on demand; provision of food services ### **DESCRIPTION** We are seeking dynamic and committed individuals to perform the following functions: Functions/responsibilities: \- Handle raw ingredients according to instructions issued by the Head Chef and/or Executive Chef of the company. \- Perform routine tasks prior to menu item pre-preparation (e.g., washing vegetables, weighing portions, boiling water, etc.) \- Carry out cleaning, sanitization, and organization activities in the kitchen and assigned areas. \- Be responsible for daily and effective maintenance of quality records for assigned work areas. \- Deliver meal carts from the central kitchen to designated floors across all services provided by the cafeteria—breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner—as required by the workplace. \- Identify menus, their preparation methods, presentation standards, portion sizes per dish, and process controls as described in the Annual Service Program, applying relevant technical knowledge. \- Maintain equipment in proper hygienic condition and ensure appropriate storage practices. \- Timely removal of expired products. \- And other duties as assigned. Requirements: \- Completed secondary education \- Minimum 1 year of experience working in collective catering \- Basic knowledge as a kitchen assistant \- Studies related to food handling or gastronomy (certified documentation required) \- Ability to work effectively in teams, with respect and adaptability within a dynamic environment.
