About Rajtattva Importaciones Rajtattva Importaciones is a specialized import\-export agency that connects South Asian textile manufacturers with high\-end fashion markets in Santiago, Chile. We support international sourcing, import operations, supplier relationships, and commercial activities within the fashion and textile industry. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Senior Accountant** to manage accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The successful candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately in an international import\-export environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day accounting and financial transactions. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Perform bank, account, and balance\-sheet reconciliations. * Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. * Prepare accounting schedules and management reports. * Support tax preparation and statutory accounting requirements in Chile. * Review invoices, payments, expenses, and financial documentation. * Monitor import\-related costs, supplier payments, and foreign\-currency transactions. * Assist with month\-end and year\-end closing processes. * Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. * Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. * Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or a related field**. * **5\+ years of professional accounting experience**, preferably in a Senior Accountant or equivalent role. * Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting. * Experience with account reconciliations, month\-end closing, and general ledger management. * Knowledge of Chilean tax and accounting requirements. * Strong Excel skills, including formulas, reporting, and financial analysis. * Experience using accounting or ERP software. * Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize financial tasks. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in **import\-export, textile, fashion, retail, or international trading companies**. * Knowledge of international supplier payments and foreign\-currency transactions. * Experience with customs\-related accounting or import costs. * Familiarity with IFRS or other applicable financial reporting standards. * Experience working with international suppliers and business partners. * Advanced Excel or financial reporting skills. * Professional accounting certification is an advantage. * English proficiency is highly desirable.
