This may include teaching independently, co\-teaching alongside another educator, or supporting specialist and student support programs. * Deliver instruction independently using lesson plans prepared by the classroom teacher. * Establish a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment that maintains continuity for students. * Implement established classroom routines, expectations, and behavior management systems. * Adapt instruction as needed while maintaining the teacher's intended learning outcomes. * Communicate relevant information about student learning, behavior, and classroom events to the returning teacher. * Support classroom preparation, organization of instructional materials, and learning environments when not assigned to substitute. * Maintain continuity of learning during extended substitute assignments, including participation in planning, assessment, and documentation responsibilities appropriate to the duration of the assignment. * Participate in professional learning, faculty meetings, and divisional initiatives. * Develop familiarity with the Elementary School curriculum, instructional frameworks, learning philosophy, and shared understanding of high\-quality learning. * Supervise students during transitions, arrival, dismissal, recesses, lunch, and other assigned supervision responsibilities when substitute coverage allows. * When not assigned to substitute duties, the Permanent Substitute will, such as Partner with the Elementary School Administrative Secretary to support daily school operations, Assist with reception duties, including greeting families and responding to parent phone calls, Support teachers, students, and administrators with day\-to\-day operational needs. *International School Nido de Aguilas is an equal opportunity employer.
