Amalíani Agatama Ltd., a boutique agritech firm delivering precision‑farming sensors, data analytics, and sustainable irrigation solutions to small‑holder farms in Chile’s Central Valley, is seeking a **Business Analyst** to turn agricultural data into actionable insights and support strategic growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Gather and document business requirements from farmers, agronomists, and internal stakeholders for new sensor deployments, analytics tools, and irrigation projects. * Analyze agricultural datasets (soil moisture, weather, yield metrics) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for yield improvement. * Develop functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and use‑case scenarios for product and service enhancements. * Collaborate with data‑science, engineering, and field‑operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and product roadmaps. * Conduct market research on agritech trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting Chilean agriculture. * Prepare business cases, ROI analyses, and cost‑benefit models to support investment decisions and new product launches. * Create and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (farm productivity, water usage efficiency, adoption rates). * Facilitate workshops and training sessions for small‑holder partners to ensure effective use of precision‑farming technologies. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s a plus). * 2 – 4 years of business analysis or consulting experience, preferably in agritech, ag‑food, or related technology sectors. * Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data‑visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and spreadsheet modeling (Excel, Google Sheets). * Familiarity with agricultural data sources (IoT sensor data, GIS, satellite imagery) and basic understanding of agronomic principles. * Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical farming stakeholders. * Experience with requirements‑gathering techniques (interviews, workshops, user stories) and Agile methodologies. * Proficient in SQL or Python/R for data querying and basic analysis is desirable. * Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. **Compensation** * Hourly rate: **CLP 6,000 – CLP 9,000**, commensurate with experience and expertise. **How** **to** **Apply** Send your résumé, a cover letter outlining relevant agritech or business‑analysis experience, and any supporting portfolio or case studies to **sales\_support@amalianiagatama.com**.
