Through internal selection processes, we seek to identify top candidates for promotion to other positions, aligning company requirements with employee motivations.*** Apply now and become part of the **Forest Road Construction Project**, for which we are seeking high school graduates or individuals with a Medium-Level Technical degree and experience as a Chainsaw Operator, to participate in and perform functions related to civil works operations as an **Art Works Assistant/Chainsaw Operator**, in the Valdivia Zone. **Job Objective:** Execute the construction of art works and the maintenance of forest roads, including sanitation works such as culverts—across all stages—in accordance with technical standards defined by the unit. This involves verifying the work plan on-site and making necessary adjustments, ensuring compliance with established operational, safety, and environmental procedures. **Specific Job Responsibilities:** * Fell and buck trees according to project requirements. * Cut pipes using a chainsaw. * Assist in unloading pipes. * Carry out activities related to culvert construction, in accordance with established work procedures, as well as operational, safety, and environmental regulations. * Collect raw materials on-site, such as wooden logs, for construction purposes. * Perform maintenance activities, including clearing, brushing, cleaning of culverts, replacement of art works (geogrids, among others), and installation of signage and log barriers. * Operate pickup trucks and trucks—with or without trailer transport—as required and subject to available license. * Perform maintenance of personal work tools. **Application Requirements:** * Completed high school education or hold a Medium-Level Technical degree (mandatory) * Minimum 1 year of chainsaw operation experience (in forestry operations and/or brigades) (mandatory) * Valid Class B driver’s license (mandatory); Class A4 license preferred * Reside in the Los Ríos Region * 10x5 shift schedule * Fixed-term contract subject to performance **Join the CAMINOS ARAUCO team!** ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a challenge that drives us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
