Regarding gender equity, we aim to achieve 35% female representation by 2027 and ensure equal opportunities for all people, as we firmly believe in the value of diverse teams (this position complies with Law 21\.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities). **We invite you to join the best place to develop your talents!** **Job Purpose:** To manage, control, and evaluate the reliability of equipment, machinery, and installations under the Plants Management Division, ensuring asset availability and maintainability, thereby fulfilling the business’s sustainability objectives and enabling early optimization of maintenance improvement cycles—while complying with quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental standards in the Division, and ensuring adherence to the Division’s and Corporation’s policies, standards, and procedures related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Main Responsibilities:** * Establish and implement optimal maintenance strategies, methodologies, and processes throughout the maintenance lifecycle to control the efficiency and effectiveness of interventions on equipment/installations, defining maintenance plans and guidelines. * Establish and develop continuous improvement cycles, defect elimination, and maintenance strategy development and analysis using tools such as RCM/RCA/RDP, etc. Knowledge of the SOMA cycle (life cycle, asset management, and maintenance maturity), plant reliability analysis, subsystems, and assets. * Define criteria and technical specifications for component and material replacement, keeping all technical documentation and critical spare parts analyses updated in SAP. * Analyze reliability, availability, utilization, and performance indicators for continuous improvement and defect elimination, maintaining operational costs within budget while applying innovation to optimize them. * Generate failure analyses and reports with action plans that eliminate root causes, ensuring implementation of these plans and data quality in maintenance management systems through reliability methodologies aligned with SAP-defined and other applicable systems’ processes. * Support the definition of criteria for condition diagnosis and monitoring of equipment and installations, and also generate plans for symptomatic and predictive inspection. * Control and ensure field implementation of measures improving the maintenance strategy. * Oversee external (contractors) and/or internal services associated with improving maintenance performance, as well as monitor relevant indicators supporting the establishment or early warning of preventive and/or corrective maintenance actions. * Contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes and to optimizing business results within one’s scope of responsibility, based on investigations, analyses, and trends of each process’s outcomes—and in alignment with the business strategy. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Application Requirements:** * Professional degree in Civil Engineering with specializations in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, and/or Industrial Engineering (the latter only if accompanied by a prior degree specializing in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering). * Minimum five (5) years of experience in maintenance of productive process plants. * Minimum three (3) years of experience in mining process plants. * Class B driver’s license. * Health compatible with job requirements. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree in asset management and/or subjects related to the functions of this position. * Intermediate-level SAP PM knowledge. * Experience with reliability techniques such as RCM, RCA, RDP, etc. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract type: Indefinite-term. * Contractual position: Specialist Engineer A. * Work location: Andina Division, Los Andes. * Working schedule: Monday to Thursday. * Number of vacancies: 01\. **Application Deadline:** **Thursday, September 03, 2026\.** Application closing time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am aware of the conditions—according to Codelco regulations—that could constitute an incompatibility for holding the position to which I am applying, and therefore affect my continuity in the selection process.
