At Sodimac, we are looking for a Planner!
What is the role’s mission?
To plan and control the purchasing budget for the assigned business line by analyzing demand, budgets, and sales plans, ensuring efficient inventory management and achievement of commercial objectives.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct commercial planning for the assigned business line, building and managing the purchasing budget, sales plan, shipping plan, and allocation when applicable.
* Manage inventory using various analytical and tracking tools, promoting proactive stock-level management.
* Analyze the execution of commercial plans, delivering relevant and timely information to support decision-making and implement actions aimed at optimizing inventory.
* Monitor budgets, seasonal products, and events in-season, identifying opportunities and defining actions that contribute to achieving sales, contribution, and turnover targets.
* Generate purchase orders linked to marketing campaigns and commercial events.
* Provide functional leadership for Demand Planner activities, promoting coordinated and business-objective-aligned management.
Requirements:
* Degree in Commercial Engineering or Industrial Civil Engineering
* Advanced Excel proficiency.
* Experience in commercial planning, procurement, supply chain, demand planning, or inventory management.
* Experience working with budgets, demand forecasts, and sales planning.
* Knowledge of inventory, supply chain, and commercial management KPIs.

**Candidate Requirements**
--------------------------
* Degree in Industrial Civil Engineering or Commercial Engineering
* Advanced Microsoft Excel
* Minimum 2 years of experience in financial, commercial, or logistics area management
* Preferred experience in mass-consumption or retail companies
