At LL Consulting, we are seeking the next **Product Design Engineer** for one of our key clients specializing in renewable energy and energy efficiency, located in Santiago. Your primary objective will be to design, develop, and optimize products from a mechanical perspective, transforming functional requirements into robust, manufacturable, and scalable solutions for the company's electrochemical technologies. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing mechanical designs for equipment and prototypes, supporting the transition from conceptualization and laboratory testing to products ready for manufacturing, installation, and operation. **Key Responsibilities Include:** * Design mechanical components and equipment using 3D CAD software. * Prepare and maintain up-to-date manufacturing drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials (BOM). * Develop and improve prototypes based on test and validation results. * Select materials and mechanical components for equipment development. * Design products considering manufacturability, assembly, and maintenance criteria. * Coordinate prototype fabrication and assembly with suppliers and workshops. * Implement design improvements to optimize product performance and reliability. * **Collaborate** with R\+D and project management activities. **Ideal Profile:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Execution Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design. * Knowledge of fluid mechanics. **Terms** * Employment type: Project-based fee. * Work location: Santiago * On-site work mode Apply with us and join the team of a local company committed to professional growth and collaborative work!
