We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.*** **ARAUCO** seeks a Chemical Civil Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the pulp industry or related fields to join as a **Process Engineer** within the **Technical Sub-Management team of the Nueva Aldea Pulp Plant.** **Position Objective:** Provide support for process control and optimization, promoting continuous improvement, automation, and technological development through systemic work grounded in critical thinking and aligned with the Company’s strategic priorities. **Main Responsibilities:** * Analyze management indicators, identify deviations, and propose improvements based on root-cause analysis. * Manage operational initiatives or projects. * Evaluate operational processes, identify improvement opportunities, and effectively manage change. * Contribute an integrated perspective to optimize operational performance. * Coordinate with various departments to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver outputs to internal and external clients. * Develop work plans to implement strategic and operational improvement projects. **Requirements to Apply:** * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Civil Engineering (Mandatory). * Minimum 3 years of experience in the pulp industry or similar. * Proficiency in computer tools (Office, SAP, etc.). * Knowledge of industrial process control and optimization, and familiarity with continuous improvement principles. * Preferred: Advanced English (spoken and written), and programming language skills (Python, VBA, among others). * Availability to work on-site at the Nueva Aldea Plant. ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
