What is the internship’s mission? * Support the BI team by developing and enhancing existing data transformations for analytical and operational use. As an Intern in the Business Intelligence and Automation team, your role will be essential in building a solid and reliable data foundation that enables our operations to make strategic decisions swiftly. Your main responsibilities will include: * Asset Mapping and Documentation (Data Catalog): Identify, classify, and document critical Home Delivery data assets, helping build and maintain our corporate data dictionary. * Information Standardization: Collaborate on defining and implementing standards and best practices for data naming conventions, structure, and processing—ensuring the entire team speaks the same "analytical language." * Implementation of Data Governance Policies: Actively support the design and execution of Data Governance policies, helping establish clear rules regarding data quality, usage, access, and information lifecycle management within logistics. * Data Quality Monitoring: Identify inconsistencies, duplication, or anomalies in last-mile transactional databases. You will assist in creating metrics, validation rules, and control dashboards to continuously monitor the "health" of our data. * Collaborative Work and Requirement Gathering: Regularly interact with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and logistics business stakeholders to understand their workflows, align KPI calculations, and resolve questions regarding data traceability and origin. * Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities and propose innovative ideas to automate data validation processes and optimize current information governance workflows. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Currently enrolled in Industrial Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. * Proficiency in SQL, Python, or another programming language. * Availability to complete a 6-month internship. * Valid student insurance.
