Empathetic and assertive communication with patients and the healthcare team At Clínica Bupa Santiago, we are seeking a Nursing Technician for the Emergency Department with the following mission: To perform and assist in clinical care and procedures required by patients according to medical and nursing instructions, contributing to delivering humane, timely care aligned with institutional standards of quality, safety, and values. To assist in handling and operating medical equipment per institutional guidelines, ensuring safe, timely, and reliable patient care. To ensure compliance with current health sector laws, organizational processes, regulations, protocols, and procedures to deliver comprehensive, safe, and high-quality care. To understand and assist in specific procedures performed on patients during the Emergency Department care process, providing personalized care. To maintain empathetic and assertive communication with patients, their families, team members, and support services, enabling prompt and coordinated care. To participate in orientation and training programs, as well as continuous improvement activities planned by the institution. To implement the educational plan according to the patient’s and family’s needs and capabilities throughout the care process, and provide information to reduce the impact of illness, procedures, or medical instructions.
