Position Summary: We are seeking a Lifting Instructor to strengthen the technical and behavioral competencies of personnel involved in lifting operations, promoting safety and efficiency standards. We are currently seeking a **Lifting Instructor** to join the United team located in Antofagasta. **Conditions:** * Shift: 5x2\. * Location: La Negra, Antofagasta. * Contract Type: Fixed-term, followed by indefinite-term. **Objective:** To strengthen the technical and behavioral competencies of personnel involved in lifting operations through training, on-site advisory support, and continuous follow-up, thereby promoting compliance with client safety standards and contributing to safe and efficient operations. **Responsibilities:** * Deliver theoretical and practical training on lifting and rigging operations. * Advise personnel on-site regarding safe lifting procedures. * Accompany and monitor operators and riggers to verify correct application of standards. * Identify competency gaps and propose improvement plans. * Verify compliance with procedures, critical controls, and client safety standards. * Participate in inspections of lifting equipment and accessories. * Prepare management reports, observations, and training progress updates. * Promote a preventive culture and continuous improvement in operations. **Requirements:** * Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations within mining or industrial settings (Rigger). * Experience delivering training or staff instruction. * Residence in Antofagasta **(Mandatory)** * Experience in critical lifting operations, load movement, and interpretation of load charts. * Inspection and control of lifting accessories and equipment, applying standards related to fatalities, critical risks, and mining and industrial safety regulations. * Ability to train and instruct personnel on-site, promoting safe practices and procedural compliance.
