Automate processes and monitor performance A prestigious higher education institution is seeking a CLOUD Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for designing a cutting-edge Cloud architecture and implementing and maintaining technology solutions based on that architecture to fulfill the institution’s technology strategy. The required design must leverage the latest public cloud features and include networking, security, virtualization, and automation dimensions. Key Responsibilities: * Research and document the most recent Cloud infrastructure services with potential applicability to institutional applications. * Design cloud infrastructure architectures meeting performance, security, and scalability requirements. * Implement and manage cloud services, such as virtual machine instances, storage, databases, and networks. * Develop and maintain security policies to protect data and systems hosted in the cloud. * Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes using automation and orchestration tools. * Monitor cloud service performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues. * Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and ensure interoperability. * Research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies and services to enhance efficiency and innovation. * Provide technical support and advisory services to other organizational teams regarding cloud infrastructure usage. Application Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Informatics Engineering or Computer Science. * 3–5 years of experience in a similar role. * Experience in workload virtualization and implementation of Landing Zones in public cloud. * Knowledge of information security and its implementation in public cloud environments (Zero Trust). * Advanced technical English at reading/writing level, enabling comprehension of technical documentation in English and written consultation with international experts. Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $2.000.000 – $2.200.000 per month
