The person in this role is able to understand manual or repetitive processes based on team explanations, translate them into functional technical solutions using Python and SQL Server, and execute them autonomously while maintaining alignment with the department’s objectives and guidelines. Opportunity published on Get on Board. ### **Main Responsibilities** **Process Automation** * Gather and understand existing operational processes from team descriptions, identifying automation opportunities. * Develop Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, data transformation, report generation, and other operational needs. * Connect to and manipulate data from SQL Server via queries and stored procedures, integrating it into automated workflows. * Document developed solutions clearly so the team can maintain or adjust them in the future. **Data Analysis and Processing** * Analyze datasets to identify patterns, inconsistencies, or requirements for cleaning and transformation. * Build and maintain simple data pipelines supporting departmental requirements. * Prepare basic reports and visualizations to facilitate team interpretation of results. **Coordination and Teamwork** * Actively participate in team meetings to gather requirements, present progress, and adjust solutions based on feedback. * Work independently on task execution without requiring continuous supervision, while maintaining proactive communication regarding work status. * Prioritize development efforts according to team needs, remaining flexible in response to scope changes or operational urgencies. * Collaborate with other department members to validate results and integrate developed solutions. ### **Role Requirements** **Academic Background** * University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering in Computing, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Additional training or courses in data analysis, automation, or Python development are valued. **Experience** * At least 1–2 years of experience in roles related to script development, data analysis, or process automation. * Demonstrable real-world experience working with Python (not limited to academic projects): file manipulation, data ingestion, task automation. * Experience with SQL Server: writing SELECT queries, filters, JOINs, GROUP BY clauses, and UPDATE statements. * Experience in finance, operations, or high-volume data industries is valued. **Technical Knowledge** * Python: proficiency with standard libraries for data processing (pandas, openpyxl, os, subprocess), task automation, and database connectivity (pyodbc, sqlalchemy). * SQL Server: ability to write and execute complex queries, manage views and stored procedures, and understand relational data models. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency as a tool for result validation and delivery. * Familiarity with Windows environments and collaborative tools (Teams, SharePoint, or similar). * Git version control knowledge is an advantage, not an exclusionary requirement. **Behavioral Competencies** * Analytical ability: skill to decompose a process or problem into components, identify its underlying logic, and propose an appropriate technical solution. * Autonomous judgment: capable of progressing independently after receiving instructions, making reasoned decisions without constant validation. * Proactivity: anticipates problems, proposes improvements, and communicates promptly when detecting issues that may affect outcomes. * Teamwork: genuine willingness to collaborate, receive feedback, and adapt work to group needs. * Clear communication: ability to explain technical solutions in terms understandable to non-developer stakeholders. * Results orientation: focus on delivering functional and useful solutions within agreed timelines. ### **Employment Conditions** **Duration** 4 months (fixed-term), with possibility of extension or renewal based on performance and departmental needs. **Work Mode** On-site / Hybrid, per internal policy. **Availability** Immediate or negotiable.
