In this opportunity, we are looking for a new **Demand Planning Engineer**, who will be responsible for creating and maintaining demand forecasts for the product families under their responsibility. Their role will be critical in supporting the S\&OP process, minimizing stockouts, optimizing inventory, and contributing to achieving the company’s financial and operational objectives. **Key Responsibilities Include:** * Analyze and correct inputs for the product families under their responsibility to improve forecast accuracy. * Lead meetings to reach consensus on forecasts, aligning with other departments: commercial, sales, promotions, and procurement. * Monitor forecast accuracy and deviations, proposing process improvements and systemic adjustments. * Maintain working relationships with commercial, sales, procurement, logistics operations, and suppliers. * Develop collaborative strategies with suppliers to ensure fulfillment of demand planning. * Prepare dashboards in Power BI or equivalent tools. * Provide and jointly work with operational areas of the company requiring demand projections. **Requirements:** * Degree in Statistics Engineering / Mathematics or Industrial Civil Engineering. * Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in S\&OP roles, including analysis and/or development of forecasting and planning models. * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency. * Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau. * Knowledge of procurement processes. * Strong analytical skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional activities. * Availability to work full-time on-site in Las Condes, Metropolitan Region. **We look forward to your application!!!** ***At SMU, we strive to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace for all individuals.
