Regarding gender equity, we aim to achieve 35% female representation by 2027 and ensure equal opportunities for all people, as we firmly believe in the value of diverse teams (this offer falls under Law 21\.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities). **We invite you to join the best place to develop your talents!** **Job Purpose:** Ensure compliance with business production programs and strategic plans through the execution, control, and optimization of operational and maintenance processes, using resources efficiently and ensuring process continuity, within the functions and responsibilities of the Directorate’s areas, overseeing compliance with—and ensuring others comply with—the policies, standards, and procedures established by the Division and the Corporation related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Main Responsibilities:** * Execute and verify the area’s operations and/or maintenance program and service contracts under the Directorate’s guidelines to meet Management’s targets. * Ensure continuity of operational and maintenance processes by correctly defining and adjusting activities involving internal resources and services. * Supervise, develop, and evaluate the performance of human resources assigned to the process, fostering a positive work environment and applying human resources systems and regulations per Corporate and Divisional guidelines. * Execute and verify safety, occupational health, and sustainability programs relevant to the assigned process, in accordance with guidelines established by the Corporation and the Division. * Supervise, control, and verify management and control programs and actions for economic resources and costs assigned to the process, to meet Management’s established targets. * Supervise, control, and verify implementation of innovation and continuous improvement projects in supply programs to maintain operational continuity, control costs, and achieve defined operational targets and standards set by the Directorate. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Application Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering in any specialty. * Minimum 8 years of general project experience. * Minimum 3 years of specific experience in projects related to the mining industry. * Valid Class "B" driver’s license. * Health compatible with the position. **Desirable Qualifications:** * PMO certification. * Experience in investment projects. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract type: Indefinite-term. * Contractual position title: Chief Engineer. * Work location: Chuquicamata Division (No camp). * Working schedule: Monday to Thursday. * Number of vacancies: 01 **Application Deadline: 28 May 2026** Application closing time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am aware of the conditions—per Codelco regulations—that may constitute an incompatibility for holding the position to which I am applying and, consequently, affect my continuation in the selection process.
