Opportunity to develop new skills and advance professionally **Job Description** --------------------------- The assistant is responsible for performing various tasks related to food and beverages. This position requires individuals with strong attention to detail, a firm commitment to customer service, and a positive, friendly demeanor. This role maintains cleanliness of equipment and the food service area. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Prepare a variety of meals according to production instructions and standardized recipes * Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment * Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, cutting, trimming, and peeling food items * Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives * Organize, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines * Accurately store food following food safety policies and procedures * Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils * Maintain excellent customer service and positive conduct toward guests, customers, and coworkers * Comply with Aramark’s safety policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene * Ensure the security of company assets. To meet our objectives, job duties may change or additional duties may be added without formal notice. **Qualifications** ------------------- * Prior food service experience preferred * Compliance with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies, and energy * Reporting to work on time and in full uniform * Knife handling and knowledge of various cooking techniques * Adherence to scheduled cleaning of equipment and facilities * Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills * Flexibility and willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays This position may involve physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
