Job Summary: This role aims to ensure the integrity, quality, governance, and utilization of the corporate CMDB, managing on-premise, public cloud, and application platforms. Key Highlights: 1. Multidisciplinary coordination for configuration updates **Position Objective:** The position’s purpose is to ensure the integrity, quality, governance, and utilization of the corporate CMDB as the Institution’s official source of technological information. Across a universe of on\-premise platforms, public cloud, workstations, self-service network, applications, services, and others. **Main Responsibilities:** CMDB Governance. Define and maintain the CMDB policy, data model, and configuration item (CI) schema, ensuring their validity amid the Bank’s technological evolution. Continuous Improvement. Formulate and execute the Configuration Management practice improvement plan, incorporating cybersecurity attribute enrichment, business-derived criticality, and attack surface visibility. Regulatory Compliance. Ensure the CMDB serves as sufficient, traceable evidence before the Financial Market Commission (CMF), Comptroller General’s Office, internal audit, and external audit, and respond to associated formal requirements. Discovery and Inventory. Design, implement, and oversee automated discovery and inventory mechanisms, progressively reducing manual effort and spreadsheet-based loads. Quality and Completeness. Establish quality rules, completeness thresholds, deduplication, and reconciliation across sources; measure inventory accuracy and drive gap remediation plans. Relationships and Dependencies. Model and maintain mappings among assets, applications, business services, and vendors, enabling impact analysis for changes, incidents, and problems. Operational Continuity. Provide required configuration information for business continuity and recovery plans, and for risk analyses concerning critical assets and obsolescence. Inventory Administration. Execute and verify CI creation, modification, and retirement in accordance with the Subgerencia’s current procedures. Verification and Auditing. Conduct periodic CMDB audits, document findings, assumptions, and limitations, and manage closure with responsible parties and committed deadlines. Multidisciplinary Coordination. Coordinate with Infrastructure, Production, Microinformatics, Cybersecurity, Risk, Architecture, IT Continuity, and vendors to ensure timely configuration information updates. Requirements **Requirements and Competencies:** Civil Computer Engineering, Execution Engineering in Computer Science, or an equivalent engineering or information technology degree, with at least 4 years of experience. General Experience. Minimum 4 years in IT service management, technology asset management, infrastructure, or IT governance. Specific CMDB Experience. Demonstrable experience in implementing, administering, and utilizing a corporate CMDB, including data modeling, discovery, and quality auditing. Large Organizations. Experience in environments with inventories exceeding tens of thousands of assets, multiple on\-premise and cloud platforms, and 24x7 operations. Desirable. Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries, with exposure to audits and supervisory body requirements. Data Analysis. Proven experience handling large volumes of data, building KPIs and dashboards, and automating reporting. Competency IT Asset Management (ITAM) **Advanced:** Full lifecycle (creation, movement, retirement), licensing and contracts, obsolescence and EOL/EOS, financial reconciliation and category-based asset control. Configuration Management (ITIL) **Expert:** CI model, schemas and attributes, baselines, relationships and dependencies, CMDB verification and auditing, integration with Change, Incident, and Problem Management. **Automation:** PowerShell and APIs **Advanced:** Scripting for large-scale fleets, consuming REST APIs (Jira Assets/JSM), integrations and bulk loads, automated validations and reconciliation. Discovery and Inventory Tools **Advanced:** SCCM/Intune, endpoint agents, network discovery, cloud inventories (AWS/GCP), and multi-platform consolidation. Data Analysis and Quality **Advanced:** SQL, Power BI/Power Query, KQL; normalization, deduplication, quality rules, completeness and traceability metrics. Compliance and Frameworks **Intermediate\-Advanced:** CMF, Comptroller General’s Office, and internal/external audit; ITIL 4, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS v8\.
