Your primary responsibility in this role will be to design and implement reliability, observability, and automation solutions for Blue Express’s mission-critical services and platforms—ensuring their availability, scalability, efficiency, and rapid recovery, aligned with defined service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and service-level agreements (SLAs) established with business stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** Propose, implement, and monitor SLOs/SLIs for critical services jointly with product teams. Automate repetitive operational tasks (toil) using scripts, pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools. Design and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and observability systems for production environments. Participate in blameless post-mortem analyses of production incidents and define corrective actions. Contribute to technical reviews of changes and deployments (gatekeeping), validating risks and rollback strategies. Collaborate on developing internal tools aimed at improving the team’s operational efficiency. Requirements What do we expect from you? ✨ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. **Work Experience:** 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or SRE roles. **Experience in This Role:** 1–2 years performing SRE or DevOps functions. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with technologies such as JIRA, Jira Service Management, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, Python, Go, Shell Scripts, GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or similar tools. **Certifications (Preferred):** AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform Associate, SRE Foundation, SRE Practitioner, Observability Foundation, or DevOps Foundation.
