Drive continuous improvement and team capability development. **Maintenance Supervisor** **Company:** Nestlé Chile **Site:** San Fernando, O’Higgins Region **Schedule:** Full-time, 100% on-site, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:30 hrs **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field in industrial maintenance. **Position Purpose** We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the Technical Team at our San Fernando Factory. The purpose of this role is to lead the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with maintenance plans, asset availability and reliability, and proper management of resources, suppliers, and area KPIs. The incumbent will lead a team of maintenance technicians and work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance Planning, Procurement, suppliers, and contractors to ensure operational continuity and adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. This role is ideal for individuals with solid experience in industrial maintenance, leadership of technical teams, ability to make decisions under pressure, and motivation to develop people and drive continuous improvement. **A Day in the Life of…** Lead the maintenance technician team, organize work execution, and ensure results through people. Execute and monitor preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities, coordinating priorities with Planning and operational areas. Ensure safe work preparation by managing permits, risks, resources, spare parts, and contractors prior to each intervention. Track work orders, maintenance plans, and equipment history, promoting timely registration and data quality. Manage the maintenance budget, procurement, suppliers, and specialized services, ensuring efficient resource utilization. Apply continuous improvement methodologies, TPM, and failure analysis to reduce recurring failures and enhance asset performance. Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, and support areas for execution of mechanical milestones, shutdowns, and critical activities. Develop team capabilities, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. **What Will Make You Successful** Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field in industrial maintenance. Have at least 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance and proven experience leading technical teams in manufacturing environments. Experience managing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, work orders, equipment history, and contractor coordination. Experience using SAP for maintenance management and tracking. Knowledge of TPM, continuous improvement, and root cause or failure analysis. Familiarity with maintenance and reliability KPIs. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of AutoCAD. Intermediate or advanced English proficiency. Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, prioritization ability, and decision-making under high-pressure situations.
