Providing Level 1 technical support and escalating urgent situations. **Req ID:** 30078 **Posted on:** 17 Apr 2026 **Location:**Huechuraba, Chile **Department:** Customer Projects Deployment \& Services Short Description The Field Service Technician at SICPA is responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing, and testing company equipment; properly recording information and materials; and providing technical support to ensure correct and efficient operation of our solution. Tasks are performed as scheduled on SICPA project equipment. **Responsibilities:** * Execute scheduled routine activities to proactively prevent equipment downtime. * Accurately and timely record materials to avoid inventory discrepancies. * Perform maintenance on SICPA solution equipment to guarantee solution operational quality. * Continuously monitor the solution. * Provide Level 1 support for basic and intermediate technical issues. * Resolve incidents within the predefined time frame. * Identify situations requiring urgent attention and escalate as necessary. **Requirements:** Academic background in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Connectivity and Networks, with at least 3 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance. **Work Location:** Casablanca, Valparaíso **Additional Knowledge:** * Basic Microsoft Office tools * Ability to diagnose and analyze electrical, mechanical, or application-related problems. * Knowledge of material control and inventory management. * Familiarity with industrial printers and cameras is desirable. * Knowledge of IT infrastructure such as switches, network cables, and industrial PCs
