Focus on high availability, backups, and data migrations **PS HUNTING GROUP – ACTIVE SEARCH** **Position: DBA Engineer (6-Week Replacement) – Outsourcing Model** At PS Hunting Group, we are currently searching for a **DBA Engineer** to cover a **6-week replacement** for an important public-sector institution. **Location:** Paseo Bulnes, Santiago **Working Hours:** Office-hour shifts * 08:00 to 17:00 hrs * 10:00 to 19:00 hrs **Net Salary:** $2\.300\.000 **Lunch Break:** 1 hour Job Objective Ensure database availability, integrity, and performance, along with proper administration, support, and operation of associated platforms. Mandatory Requirements (do not apply if not met) * Professional degree in IT (minimum 4-year program). * Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience as a DBA. * Solid experience in: * Oracle 9i RAC or higher (11g mandatory). * Informix, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. * Experience in: * Database administration, support, and operation. * High-availability solutions. * Backups, audits, and data recovery. * Database migrations and version upgrades. * License control and administration. * Generation of database status reports. Desirable Requirements (non-mandatory) * ITIL certification. * Official certification or courses in Oracle database design and administration.
