FLUIDS AND FILTRATION SUPERVISOR - QUILICURA Position Purpose Lead activities of the fluids and filtration team serving various clients, ensuring proper use, management, and maintenance of fluids and filtration systems in mining equipment, guaranteeing operational continuity, safety, and sustainability through implementation of best practices, technological innovation, and resource optimization. Main Responsibilities: Lead standardization of filtration systems and fluid configurations within the mining division, ensuring personnel comply with area guidelines and strategy, identifying improvement opportunities to maximize process efficiency and quality. Assign and prioritize technical inspections of fluid and filtration systems, ensure proper closure of findings and follow-up on action plans, maintaining a continuous and efficient process to secure operational continuity, minimize risks, and ensure timely implementation of technical improvements. Coordinate with other organizational areas to ensure compliance with action plans and resolve identified issues, organizing, guiding, and aligning stakeholders to improve productivity, avoid rework, and prevent misuse of resources. Provide fluids and filtration advisory services to internal and external clients, generating technical recommendations, product proposals, and action plans. Quantify value generated by the area and manage associated KPIs and reports, providing objective and accurate information for strategic decision-making and performance tracking through periodic reporting. Collaborate with peers across the holding company on supplier management, aligning criteria and practices to optimize supplier selection, evaluation, and performance, creating synergies and efficiencies. Support in designing processes, improvements, solutions, and other tasks assigned by direct management to contribute to organizational efficiency. Prepare summaries, analyses, reports, templates, and presentations for both internal and external use. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the responsibilities described above, leading teams, projects, and/or working as a specialist engineer in fluids and filtration. Will be responsible for ensuring proper use and maintenance of mining equipment fluids/filtration, ensuring reliability, safety, and sustainability of operations, leading a team tasked with defining fluid and filter change intervals, managing analyses, recommending improvements, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and clients. Requirements: Intermediate Office 365 skills. Intermediate Excel proficiency. Demonstrable knowledge in the fluids and filtration industry applied to maintenance. Intermediate English (spoken, written, reading). Will interact with foreign suppliers. Availability to work hybrid in Quilicura (approx. 2 days onsite when not in the field, with flexibility according to area requirements). This role operates under Article 22, without working hour limitations. Availability to travel periodically to field sites (mining operations; must have health compatible with the position).
