Job Summary: Sierra Gorda SCM is seeking an Electromechanical Technician D to maintain its fleet of drilling rigs by performing scheduled maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure uninterrupted production. Key Highlights: 1. Maintenance and repair of the internal fleet of drilling rigs. 2. Contributes to resolving equipment failures and operating specialized equipment. 3. Supports the implementation of maintenance and production programs. **Job Description** ---------------------- Sierra Gorda SCM is seeking an Electromechanical Technician D for the Superintendent of Shovels and Drilling Rigs, responsible for: Performing maintenance tasks on the internal fleet (drilling rigs) to support the achievement of mine maintenance and production programs, in accordance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, procedures, regulations, and instructions. Main responsibilities include: * Performing scheduled maintenance tasks and guidelines, component replacements, backlog execution, handling of unforeseen events, and packing components for shipment to repair facilities—maintaining and repairing the internal fleet according to procedures and standards established by SG SCM. * Operating light-duty trucks, crane trucks, man-lifts, and aerial work platforms (with corresponding certifications), supporting the mobilization of equipment involved in maintenance activities. * Preparing and executing housekeeping and cleaning actions for equipment and assigned areas, as well as required consumables for their activities, ensuring compliance with operational area housekeeping and cleaning procedures. * Conducting failure analysis and maintenance of specialized equipment (diesel-powered and other equipment), contributing to resolving repairs required by operations. * Operating mine equipment (bridge cranes and forklifts) as assigned by supervision, maintaining and repairing the drilling rig fleet according to procedures and standards established by SG SCM. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Completed Higher Technical Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and/or Electromechanical Technician). * 2–3 years of professional experience. * Experience in maintenance and repair of drilling rigs. * Class D-A4 driver’s license. * Certifications for operating light-duty trucks, crane trucks, water tank trucks, dump trucks, and backhoe loaders. **Selection Process** ------------------------ The selection process is conducted via Aira—a recruitment platform designed to enhance your application experience. * Stage 1 (Online): Resume and Additional Questions * Stage 2 (Online): Technical Interview * Stage 3 (In-person and Online): Medical Examinations and Assessments * Stage 4 (Online): Job Offer.
