Ricambio Siciliano Chile SpA, a leading automotive‑services company providing vehicle components, replacement parts, maintenance supplies, and digital inventory solutions to workshops and dealerships nationwide, is looking for a **DevOps Engineer** to design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our e‑commerce and inventory platforms.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, build, and manage scalable, highly available infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to support the company’s digital inventory and ordering systems.
* Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi and maintain configuration management with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
* Set up CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for automated testing, building, and deployment of micro‑services and web applications.
* Monitor system performance, reliability, and security using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks, and CloudWatch; respond to alerts and conduct root‑cause analyses.
* Automate provisioning, scaling, and recovery processes, leveraging container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless services where appropriate.
* Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth releases, fast rollback, and consistent environments across development, staging, and production.
* Enforce security best practices, manage secrets (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), and ensure compliance with industry standards and Chilean data‑privacy regulations.
* Document architecture, runbooks, and standard operating procedures; provide knowledge transfer and training to the team.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* 3 – 5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience, preferably in e‑commerce, logistics, or automotive‑parts domains.
* Proficiency with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
* Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
* Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
* Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and security groups/VPC design.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and version‑control workflows (Git).
* Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog).
* Excellent problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
* Strong communication skills in Spanish and English; capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
**Compensation**
* Hourly rate: **CLP 7,000 – CLP 10,000**, based on experience and skill set.
