Job Summary: The General Maintenance I position is critical within the Maintenance Department, performing necessary maintenance projects and maintaining records and inventory. Key Highlights: 1. Maintain maintenance records and inventory. 2. Respond to repair/maintenance emergencies. 3. HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills. **Job Description** --------------------------- The General Maintenance I position is critical within the Maintenance Department. Responsibilities include performing all necessary on-site maintenance projects while maintaining records and inventory. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and maintain records. * Respond to any repair/maintenance emergency situations as needed. * Maintain critical inventory required to keep operations running; maintain and account for tools used. * Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers and coworkers. To meet our goals, job responsibilities may change or new ones may be added without formal notice. **Qualifications** ------------------- * HVAC certification preferred. * Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. * Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical hazards. * Some driving between the three sites using your personal vehicle is required, but mileage is reimbursed when exceeding normal commute distance. * HVAC, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting; general maintenance. This position may involve physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or walking and standing for extended periods.
