Our client, a prominent industrial company in the gas sector, is looking to hire a **Mechanical Technician** for its plant located in Concón. Our consulting firm manages the recruitment process, and the hiring will be directly with the company. **Job Objective** You will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance activities on plant equipment and facilities, contributing to the safe and efficient operation in accordance with established procedures. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities. * Carry out component replacement and mechanical repair work as required by operational needs. * Support the response to and resolution of contingencies that may affect plant operational continuity. * Conduct welding, fabrication, and repair of metal structures. * Perform periodic inspections and operational verifications on support equipment and critical facilities. * Strictly comply with safety standards, internal procedures, and sound maintenance practices. **Work Modality and Schedule** **Location:** Concón (100% on-site work). **Rotating Shift System:** Morning Shift * Monday to Friday, 07:00–14:00 hrs. * Saturday, 07:00–17:00 hrs. Afternoon Shift * Monday to Friday, 13:45–22:35 hrs. * The company provides transportation from the plant to employees’ homes upon completion of this shift.
