




KDOCE SPA, an educational innovation company, is seeking a Head of Control for the projects and procurement area. This role is key for data analysis and process improvement in daily operations and strategic objectives set by general management in these areas. The person will be responsible for supervising and directing all activities related to the company's project implementations and procurement, ranging from long-term strategic planning of procedural needs to managing current operational infrastructure. In their control role, they must ensure that processes and professionals under their supervision use their technical expertise in service of projects during initial stages, implementation, and case resolution with their respective deliverables. Their team will consist of professionals from the fields of construction, architecture, design, and procurement. Main responsibilities: 1\. Technological Strategy Define and develop the organization's strategy within their area. This may include identifying new technologies and solutions that could help the company achieve its goals and maintain competitiveness. It may also involve long-term planning of infrastructure and human resources. 2\. Project Management Supervise the implementation of new projects. This involves planning, coordinating teams, risk management, and ensuring these tasks are completed on time and within budget. 3\. Team Management Lead and coordinate the work of teams on projects and installations. This may involve hiring and training personnel, performance management, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. 4\. Infrastructure Management Ensure the organization's infrastructure is robust, secure, and capable of meeting the needs of the company and its clients. 5\. Risk Management and Compliance Oversee information security and compliance with the company's fundamental privacy and data protection regulations. 6\. Supplier Relations Manage relationships with service providers and negotiate contracts. This may include selecting and managing suppliers, as well as negotiating contracts and service level agreements. 7\. Interdepartmental Communication Work closely with other departments to understand their implementation needs and ensure systems align with the company's business objectives. 8\. Budget and Finance Manage the department's budget and make investment decisions regarding tools. This involves understanding budget constraints, prioritizing investments, and ensuring efficient use of resources. 9\. Change Management Manage change associated with implementing new methodologies in project execution and evaluation. This may involve training staff, managing resistance to change, and effectively communicating the benefits and impacts of the change. Profile and skills * Degree in Civil Industrial Engineering or Construction Engineering, with extensive knowledge and experience in management * Postgraduate degree in project management desirable * Intermediate level English language proficiency * Strong technical skills and experience in project implementation * Leadership and team management skills * Ability to strategically plan and make data-driven decisions * Communication and negotiation skills * Knowledge of standards and regulations * Ability to manage projects and resources Work format: On-site Schedule: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30 (42-hour workweek) The company has shown sustained growth over time and invites experienced professionals to apply for the position.
