Position Summary: Responsible for managing and controlling production processes from the Underground Control Room (UG), ensuring operational continuity and adherence to the daily production schedule. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling production processes—including Loading and Hauling, Production Drilling, Blasting, Horizontal Development, Vertical Development, and Services—from the Underground Control Room (UG), utilizing available technological systems for process control. Generate reports and related documentation for process control to fulfill the daily production schedule and contribute to operational continuity. **Key Responsibilities Will Include:** -------------------------------------------- * Monitor, manage, and coordinate underground mine processes via technological and digital systems. Provide performance-related information and/or daily plan compliance status to relevant departments; report deviations, consumption of critical consumables, among others. * Maintain clear radio frequency communication and report contingencies; support the Underground Mine Shift Supervisor during emergencies. * When required, provide support for tasks assigned by management, such as coordinating maintenance activities and meal shift schedules, among others. * Participate in the Underground Control Room and equipment operator training program. * Submit hourly performance and deviation reports to management. * In carrying out job duties, comply with occupational health and safety, environmental, and operational policies, standards, and procedures, considering associated risks and environmental aspects and protective measures. * Stay informed and maintain conduct aligned with anti-corruption, ethics, code of conduct, human rights, diversity and inclusion, and workplace and sexual harassment policies. **What Requirements Must You Fulfill?** ---------------------------------- * Technical or Engineering degree in Mining, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of two years’ experience in underground or open-pit mining operations. * Knowledge of systems related to Control Rooms and Mining Operations Dispatch. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
