Job Description We are seeking a **Mining Operations Engineer** to plan, supervise, and optimize mining operations, ensuring productivity, operational continuity, safety, and compliance with established standards. Key Responsibilities * Plan and control mining production and operational activities. * Monitor productivity, cost, availability, and performance indicators. * Coordinate human resources, equipment, materials, and operational services. * Analyze deviations and propose improvements to optimize processes and costs. * Supervise compliance with **safety, environmental, and quality** standards. * Prepare operational reports and support decision-making. * Coordinate with Maintenance, Geology, Processing Plant, Risk Prevention, and other departments. * Participate in **continuous improvement and operational optimization** initiatives. Requirements * Degree in **Mining Engineering, Civil Mining Engineering**, or related field. * Preferable experience in **open-pit or underground mining**. * Proficiency in **Excel** and mining planning and management tools. * Preferable knowledge of **SAP, Power BI, and operational control systems**. * Knowledge of **mining safety standards and applicable regulations in Chile**. * Availability to work on shift schedules and at mine sites, as required by the position. * Analytical ability, leadership, results orientation, and commitment to safety.
