The role will be highly technical with immediate impact, aimed at diagnosing, optimizing, and stabilizing the environment. Job Objective: Diagnose, optimize, and stabilize the SQL Server database environment, addressing issues such as excessive resource consumption, accelerated growth, and disk saturation. Main Responsibilities: • Analyze current database usage and identify bottlenecks. • Optimize queries, indexes, and data structures. • Monitor and mitigate excessive database growth. • Propose storage strategies and efficient data management approaches. • Review processes associated with intensive resource consumption (Excel, Python, analytical processes). • Implement performance and environment stability improvements. • Generate technical recommendations to prevent recurrence of the issue. Requirements: • Degree in Computer Science or related field. • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as an SQL Server DBA. Experience in: o Performance optimization (queries, indexes, execution plans). o Administration and maintenance of SQL Server. o Diagnosis of resource consumption and storage issues. • Desirable experience in high-volume data environments. Conditions: • Initial contract: 1–2 months (specific project). • Continuation: Subject to results and possible activation of new projects. • Work modality: 100% on-site. • Location: Las Condes, near Metro Line 1. • Working hours: Office hours.
